I am Brie Gainer. You found me.

One-line bio: I’m a doting mother in need of a pre-paid personal trainer, new batteries, and a laundrymaid.
I am the mother of a fearless child named Ilona, and I am in love with an artist named Brent. They, along with my live-in mother, “Saint Lilia,” are the usual topics of my blog.
I don’t often write about my dad, but I am very proud of him. He is an activist and often travels to D.C. and San Francisco on behalf of the rights of gays in the military.
I have blogged extensively about this and other things for at least ten years via various online journal mediums and personal websites. 2005 and 2006, in which I was involved in serious court issues (custody, jail, probation, etc) were the two worst years of my life. Most of the hardcore blog entries have been locked up.
I just want to be happy and have a normal family. This isn’t always the case, and I continually struggle with the notion that I’m living a life of chaos right now because I caused some serious hell in a past life.

I wish we could talk. I barley knew you so long ago at The Body Shop. I loved your spirit then and I can see it in your baby.
You saw my baby be born. I would love to talk.
It was Monica Johnson then. It is Monica Walker Now.
