The List ~ Part I (Updated)
Generally, I don’t like to tell people what I want for Christmas. In a way, don’t you find it vulgar? It takes away the surprise element of receiving a gift—and that is half the fun!
And don’t even think about getting me a gift card. I would rather have a pretty glass vase from Ross for $5.95 than a $25 gift card to Wal-Mart.
Expensive Stuff Which I Will Probably Never Get:
- a princess-cut sapphire engagement ring, size 8.5, preferably silver or (dare I ask) platinum
- a quality watch that goes with pretty much everything and will last forever. Example: TAG Heuer Women’s Link Series Watch #WJF1315.BA0571
- a new bed
Stuff Which I Ask For Every Year And Never Get:
- a golf umbrella
a hair dryer with a “cool shot” buttonGod bless Malice for sending me a new hair dryer!!!!!!!!! I♥Malice!- a cordless screwdriver
a coffee pressI treated myself to one from IKEA for $12.99
Stuff I Just Really Want And Isn’t Too Much To Ask For:
- a dozen roses, any colour, even if they are from the grocery store
- a CD called “Rasa: Mello, Vol. 3 ~ Various Artists”
- white ankle socks with lace/ruffle
- a car wash/wax/oil change
- any “Asian-inspired” teapot &/or teapot set from World Market (see store, near the coffee cups, usually around $16)
One Thing That I Just Won’t Get Anytime Soon And Really Need And Is Ultra Cheap:
a weekend alone with my boyfriend, doing nothing, making our own sushi, and snuggling in bed watching funny moviesWe didn’t make sushi, but we had some at a buffet–does that count? ☺ It was a nice weekend.
