Friday 5 for July 17: Scattergories
What random letter was generated by the **online random-letter generator? —J.— (Which makes me think of a certain adorable & pretty & blonde JAY I know! AND a certain Amanda Peet sister. Shout-outs!)
With what famous person, whose name begins with the letter in question #1, would you most like to be stuck on a desert island? Jason Bateman, Joaquin Phoenix, Johnny Depp, Jim Carey, Jerry O’Connell, Julia Roberts, JENNIFER CONNOLLY…. (Yes, I realize I am only naming actors, but oh well.) There are a lot of J’s I would like to be stuck with, but I think I’ll go with Joaquin. I am a sucker for his brooding nature and lip scar. (You know I love skin flaws! I should have been a dermatologist.)
What food item, whose name begins with the letter in question #1, can always be found in your pantry? Jelly. Let’s be technical: lingonsylt from IKEA. However, it must be addressed as “jelly” to fulfill my Friday5 questionnaire. Or, I guess it could be considered “jam.” Either way, we can’t live without the major ingredient of PBJ in our household, especially with a kid in the haus.
What song, whose title begins with the letter in question #1, always makes you feel good? “Jump Around” by House of Pain. I know it’s old and not really all that great, but I am always wiggling in my seat and bobbing my head whenever I hear it!
What is your least-favorite film whose title begins with the letter in question #1? OK, I’m going to cheat a little bit: G.I. Jane. I’m sorry, I admire Demi, but I lost two hours of my life watching that movie.
What unusual animal, whose name begins with the letter in question #1, would be a fun pet? I’m not sure a jaguar would be a “fun” pet, but still—it would certainly be an AWESOME pet!!!
**Per Friday5.org re: the online letter generator:
“Set the “number of random letter sequences to generate” to 1. Set the “length of each random letter sequence” to 1. Leave the “letters to choose from” how it is and click the button. You’ll get a rather non-dramatic one letter. Use that letter to begin all your answers to the 5 questions.”
